Best of England and Scotland

This tour includes all of the iconic and must-see sites of England and Scotland! We begin in Edinburgh, Scotland with a tour of the city and its castle along with a visit to a whisky distillery to learn about the world famous, Scottish whiskey. We will visit Trossachs National Park, Scotland’s first national park and a favorite area of the great poet, Sir Walter Scott. We will tour Edinburgh Castle as well as Rosslyn Chapel, one of Scotland’s most remarkable buildings that was featured in the novel, The Da Vinci Code. As we cross into England, we will visit the town of York and tour the impressive York Minster Cathedral. Our next stop in Liverpool will have you singing Beatles songs all day as we visit the Beatles Story Museum. The next day brings a culture shift as we visit Stratford upon Avon, the home of William Shakespeare and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. Our next city visit is Oxford, known as the “city of spires”. No visit to England is complete without walking among the ancient stones of Stonehenge and visiting the historic Windsor Castle. Our last 4 nights are spent in London to see Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and a cruise of the river Thames. There will be free time in London for museums, shopping or going to the Theatre in London’s West End.
