Thursday, January 23
Depart Houston’s Bush airport for Honolulu, Hawaii. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our Waikiki Beach hotel for 2 nights. Overnight Waikiki Beach, Embassy Suites Hotel
Friday, January 24
After breakfast, we will depart for Pearl Harbor and the Battleship Missouri for an emotionally resonating journey through history by exploring the legacy of this site and its profound impact on the world. We will travel by boat for a tour of the USS Arizona Memorial which floats over the remains of the sunken battleship, the final resting place for many of the 1,177 crewmen who lost their lives (pending ticket availability). After lunch, we will have a narrated drive to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific Punchbowl, where many American men and women who died fighting for their country have been laid to rest. Saturday, January 25
After breakfast and a leisurely morning, we will transfer to the pier to board Norwegian Cruise Line’s, Pride of America, for our 7 day Inter island Hawaiian cruise. (B)(L)(D)
Sunday, January 26
Today’s port of call is Kahului, Maui with an estimated arrival time of 8:00am. A surplus of natural splendor and the genuine hospitality of its people have helped make Maui Hawaii’s second most popular island. Explore the fascinating history of the town of Lahaina, plant yourself on a pristine beach, or play one of the world’s most beautiful golf courses. The ship will remain in port overnight near the town of Kahului. (B)(L)(D)
Monday, January 27
The ship will remain in the port of Kahului, Maui today until 6:00PM. There will be many shore excursions available for purchase from the shore excursion desk of the ship including Haleakala Crater sunrise or sunset, Road to Hana tour or visiting a pineapple plantation. Or you can simply enjoy the ocean breeze. (B)(L)(D)
Tuesday January 28
Today begins with a full day on the Island of Hilo, Hawaii. The entire city of Hilo is like one giant greenhouse with spectacular tropical flowers at every turn. Visit the town’s well-preserved historic buildings, which date back to the turn of the century and showcase Hawaii’s unique architecture. Just 30 miles away is the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home of the active Kilauea Volcano. Guided tours are available for purchase from the shore excursion desk. (B)(L)(D)
Wednesday, January 29
Kona, Hawaii offers the quintessential Hawaii experience. Sunny, warm weather and crystal blue waters entice visitors to partake in a variety of surfside fun. Optional activities include snorkeling amongst a kaleidoscope of tropical marine life, taking a surfing lesson or kayaking to deeper waters for some deep-sea fishing. (B)(L)(D)
Thursday, January 30
Named after the Wiliwili trees which once lined its picturesque harbor, this lovely port of Nawiliwili, Kauai is your gateway to what many believe is Hawaii’s most beautiful island. On “The Garden Island,” nature is truly the star, from the dramatic mountains of Kokee to the cool rainforests of Haena. Tonight, we will enjoy a traditional Hawaiian luau with lively entertainment unique to Hawaii. (B)(L)(D)
Friday, January 31
Our ship remains in port today at Nawiliwili, Kauai until 5:30PM. This tropical paradise is a dream come true for anyone who loves sun, sand, and endless fun. Kauai is the oldest and fourth largest of the main Hawaiian Islands, and is brimming with natural beauty, from its lush rainforests and dramatic cliffs to its pristine beaches and vibrant coral reefs. Saturday, February 1
After breakfast, we will disembark and enjoy a Grand circle tour of Oahu Island and be swept away to the island’s most breathtaking landmarks and destinations. These sites include the spouting “Blow Hole,” and the renowned Kualoa Ranch, which is nestled against the stunning Koolau Mountains. We will transfer to the airport late afternoon for our early evening flight home. (B)
