Monday, June 24
We will depart Denver Intl Airport via Southwest Airlines mid-day and arrive Washington Dulles @ 5:35pm. Upon arrival to Washington, we will be met by our local guide and motorcoach and transfer to one of DC’s oldest restaurants, Old Ebbitt Grill, for a delicious group dinner. Afterwards, we will check into the Sofitel Hotel for a 3 night stay in our nation’s Capital. (D)
Tuesday, June 25
After breakfast, we will depart for the Museum of the Bible where we will see rare and fascinating artifacts spanning 4,000 years and enjoy an immersive and personalized experience with the Bible and its ongoing impact on the world. After lunch, you are free to continue exploring the museum or visit another nearby Smithsonian Museum. We will enjoy a group dinner tonight in a local restaurant before enjoying a Monuments by Moonlight Tour featuring many of the famous landmarks of Washington. These monuments will include The Jefferson Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and others. (B)(D)
Wednesday, June 26
This morning, we will visit Mt. Vernon, the historic home and grounds of George and Martha Washington. Lunch will be served in the dining room of Mt Vernon. This afternoon we will sightsee our way back to the city and view the Roosevelt Memorial, MLK Memorial, Korea War Memorial and other such memorials in the area. After dinner at the Georgetown Waterfront, we will transfer to the United States Capitol to experience a powerful time of private worship and communion in the Capitol Rotunda. (B)(L)
Thursday, June 27
This morning we will check out of our hotel and enjoy a guided tour of the National Cathedral, the sixth-largest cathedral in the world. We will visit the White House Visitor’s Center and snap a group photo in front of the White House before vising the National Archives. After a group lunch at a local restaurant, we make our last stop at the National Air and Space Museum near Dulles airport to explore hundreds of the world’s most significant objects in aviation and space history. Our return flight to Denver departs at 6:25PM with an arrival of 8:15pm. (B)(L)
