Thursday, October 3
Welcome to New England!
We will arrive at Boston Logan International Airport and be greeted by our tour guide and driver for a week-long tour. Our first night stay will be at the Hilton Garden Inn, Waltham MA where we will enjoy a welcome dinner together. (D)

Friday, October 4
Vermont Country Store, Woodstock, Quechee Gorge & Billings Farm
After breakfast, we will enjoy a day of touring through the Green Mountains of Vermont! Our first stop will be the Vermont Country Store founded in 1946. This authentic country store is stocked with thousands of practical and hard-to-find goods and wares that will surely delight you. We will enjoy a picture stop at Quechee Gorge, Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon, before arriving in the quintessential New England town of Woodstock for free time and lunch. This afternoon we will have a picture stop at one of Vermont’s historic covered bridges and also visit one of the finest dairy farms in America, Billings Farm and Museum. We will experience farm life of the 1890’s and enjoy a wagon ride to see the scenic landscapes and pastures of the dairy farm as well as enjoy a private tasting of the award-winning cheddar cheeses. Our hotel for the next two nights will be The Jackson Gore Inn at Okemo Resort. Dinner will be served at the hotel tonight. (B)(D)

Saturday, October 5
Maple Sugar Farm, Trapp Family Lodge & Stowe
Today we are off to explore Vermont’s splendid foliage and countryside with a visit to one of Vermont’s Maple Sugar farms where we will participate in a lively maple syrup demonstration and sample syrups! No tour to Vermont is complete without a visit to Stowe where the hills come alive with a special visit to the famous Trapp Family Lodge. As Maria von Trapp once said, “Our life is like a beautiful story that happens to be true.” Enjoy a savory Austrian-inspired lunch and hear their story on this unique history tour! We will end the day with free time in the charming village of Stowe. (B)(L)

Sunday, October 6
Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise, Flume Gorge & Scenic Kancamagus Highway
After breakfast, we will enjoy a spectacular day in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and the White Mountains. We will board the M/S Mount Washington for a scenic cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, the state’s largest and most beautiful lake. Our cruise will end in the historic lakeside village of Wolfeboro, considered to be America’s first summer resort. This afternoon, we will enjoy visiting the Franconia State Park Visitors Center and have time for an optional two-mile one-way hike to the Flume Gorge. We end the day by journeying along the Kancamagus Highway, one of the country’s most scenic by-ways, where the air is filled with orange, red and yellow color! Our hotel for the next two nights will be the North Conway Grand hotel in North Conway, NH. Dinner will be served at the hotel tonight. (B)(D)

Monday, October 7
Mount Washington Hotel & Mount Washington Cog Railway
This morning’s journey will take us through the majestic White Mountains of New Hampshire for a visit to the historic Omni Mount Washington Hotel. This grand masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance architecture was a two-year labor of love that opened in 1902 and was a favorite summer haunt for poets, presidents, and princes. After a self-guided tour of this magnificent property, we will enjoy a delicious luncheon in the grand dining room. For an unforgettable and exciting “once in a lifetime” railing experience, we will ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway along some of steepest railroad tracks in existence to the peak of Mt Washington for spectacular views. This evening’s dinner will on your own near our hotel. (B)(L)

Tuesday, October 8
York, Ogunquit, Lobster Cruise & Kennebunkport
After breakfast, we will go north to the beautiful shores of coastal Maine! Our first stop is the village of York to visit one of the most photographed lighthouses in the country, Cape Neddick Light, also known as “the Nubble”. We will enjoy a walk along the Marginal Way in the seaside village of Ogunquit, which means beautiful place by the sea. We will learn all about lobsters aboard the ‘Finest Kind’ cruises before enjoying a scenic ocean view drive to Kennebunkport. There will be free time in charming Dock Square before checking into our coastal Maine resort, The Nonantum Resort, which is around the corner from Walker’s Point, the well-known summer home of past President George HW Bush. The evening is at your leisure to dine at the Inn or explore some of the wonderful restaurants in town. (B)

Wednesday, October 9
Boston
Our final day in the beautiful northeast will take us back to Boston for a tour along the famous Freedom Trail to view the many historic sites while hearing tales of the brave Bostonians and Colonialists who helped establish our country. Lunch will be on your own at Faneuil Hall before heading to the Boston Logan International Airport for our departing flight. (B)
