Monday, March 31
This morning we will board our motorcoach and head to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We will arrive to The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove at approx. 6:00PM for check in before dinner. After dinner, there will be a time of worship and orientation. (D)
Tuesday, April 1
After breakfast we will enjoy an inspirational time of worship followed by a chalk talk with Elva. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore the many amenities of the Cove such as hiking trails, the prayer gardens or the gift shop. Or sit on the back deck and enjoy the stunning views and fresh mountain air. The evening session will be a concert by Elva and friends featuring original music by Elva and her family. (B) (L) (D)
Wednesday, April 2
We begin the day with breakfast and a special time of worship followed by an encouraging devotional by Pastors Steve and Kim Styer. The afternoon is free to rest and enjoy the property. Later afternoon, we will enjoy a powerful hymn sing in the chapel with concert pianist, Jeff Bennett. Our final session of the week will be after dinner and will feature a chalk talk with Elva. Thursday, April 3
This morning we will drive to Wilkesboro, North Carolina for a fascinating tour of the Samaritan’s Purse Operations Center. After the tour, we will enjoy lunch in the beautiful dining room of Samaritan’s Purse and have an opportunity to participate in a mission project. The day will end with dinner and an overnight stay in Charlotte, North Carolina. (B) (L) (D)
Friday, April 4
This morning we will experience the Billy Graham Library through state-of-the-art multimedia exhibits, films and memorabilia to relive the historic moments of Billy and Ruth Graham. Lunch will be available for purchase from the onsite restaurant. We will load the bus by 12:30pm to journey back home with an estimated arrival time of 12:00am.
